Shots & Visualization
Visualizing your story with shots, grid views, and image generation
Shots & Visualization
This is where your script comes to life visually. You can manage individual shots and generate images for them.
Understanding Shots
A Shot is a single continuous view in your storyboard. Each shot contains:
- Description: What happens in the shot.
- Shot Size: Close-up, Medium Shot, Wide Shot, etc.
- Camera Movement: Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Static.
- Duration: How long the shot lasts.
Views
- Shot List: Best for editing metadata (descriptions, duration, camera info).
- Grid View: Best for seeing the visual flow of the story. You can drag and drop shots to reorder them.
Generating Images
- Select a shot or multiple shots.
- Click Generate Image.
- The AI uses the shot description, character definitions, and project art style to create the image.
Variations & Redrawing
If you're not happy with a result:
- Redraw: Generate a completely new image.
- Variations: Generate subtle variations of the current image.
- Edit: You can manually adjust the prompt or settings for a specific shot to get the perfect look.
Managing Versions
Storyboard AI keeps a history of generated images.
- Versions: Each generation creates a new version.
- Active Version: You can select which version is currently "active" and displayed in the storyboard.
