Getting Started with Storyboard AI

This guide will help you familiarize yourself with the Storyboard AI interface and get you ready to create your first visual story.

Storyboard Dashboard

The Dashboard

When you access the Storyboard section, you will see a list of your existing projects. From here, you can:

  • Create a New Project: Click the "Create Project" button to start a new storyboard.
  • Manage Projects: View details, edit, or delete existing projects.
  • Search: Quickly find specific projects by name.

Project Interface

Once you open a project, you will navigate through different views tailored for specific stages of creation:

  1. Screenplay: Focus on writing and refining your script.
  2. Shot List: A detailed list view of all your shots, perfect for managing descriptions and metadata.
  3. Grid View: A visual board displaying all your shot images, ideal for checking visual flow.
  4. Animatic: A timeline view to preview your storyboard as a video.
  5. Player: A dedicated player to watch your animatic.

Use the sidebar or top navigation bar to switch between these views. The interface is designed to be intuitive, allowing you to move seamlessly from text to image.
