Publishing to External Platforms
Prepare comic assets in LlamaGen.ai, then publish them on WEBTOON, pixiv, or Amazon KDP
LlamaGen.ai helps you prepare comic assets for WEBTOON, pixiv, and Amazon KDP. Some preparation tools depend on account availability. You must finish publication in an account on each external platform.

Publish to WEBTOON
Publish your series and episodes through WEBTOON CANVAS. Start by exporting the comic pages you want to use from LlamaGen.ai.
Prepare Your Comic
- Open your comic in Comic Studio and check the page order.
- Use Download to export the pages as images or a ZIP file. See Export PDF, ZIP, images, and video.
- Prepare a series title, description, thumbnail, and vertically readable episode images. Check the current image requirements in WEBTOON's creator guide.
Publish on WEBTOON
- Sign in to WEBTOON CANVAS.
- Create your series and episode there, then upload your prepared images and enter the details.
- Preview the episode on a phone before publishing.
If Publish To Webtoon appears in your LlamaGen Download menu but its preparation screen does not open for your account, use the export steps above and complete publication on WEBTOON CANVAS.
Review your episodes on a mobile device before publishing — WEBTOON is primarily a mobile reading experience, so vertical readability matters.
Publish to PIXIV
The Publish To > PIXIV screen helps you collect manga pages and metadata. It does not post to your pixiv account.
Access PIXIV Publishing
- Open your comic in Comic Studio
- Open the Download menu in the top toolbar and select Publish To Pixiv
Upload Manga Pages
- Review your manga pages in reading order in the preparation screen
- Supported formats: JPEG, GIF, PNG
- Maximum 32 MB per file
- Maximum 200 files per upload
- Maximum 200 MB total
Set Series Details
- Title and summary
- Category selection
- Optional square and vertical thumbnail assets offered in the preparation screen
- AI-generated work disclosure when posting on pixiv
Publish
- Review the pages and metadata, then use Copy All Data to copy the details.
- Download the page images and any thumbnail assets you need.
- Sign in to pixiv, select Post your work, choose Manga, upload the images, and complete pixiv's required fields before posting. Check pixiv's manga posting guide for current requirements.
Publish to Amazon KDP
The Publish To > Amazon KDP screen helps you organize book details. It does not upload or publish a book to Amazon KDP.
Access KDP Publishing
- Open your comic in Comic Studio
- Open the Download menu in the top toolbar and select Publish To Amazon KDP
Prepare Book Details
Fill in the four sections:
1. Preparation
- Choose your book format: paperback, hardcover, or Kindle
- Select your target Amazon marketplace
2. Book Details
- Title and subtitle
- Series name (if applicable)
- Edition and author name
- Description
- ISBN for print editions, if you have one; KDP can provide a free ISBN for eligible paperback and hardcover books
- Keywords for discoverability
- AI content disclosure when the book contains AI-generated text, images, or translations
3. Content
- Review your comic panels and prepare a KDP-ready manuscript file separately
- Set age ranges
- Choose the relevant KDP categories
4. Pricing
- Set your book price
- Review royalty options
- Select distribution territories
Use Copy All Data, prepare your cover and manuscript files, then sign in to Amazon KDP to enter the details, upload the files, and submit your book for review.
AI content disclosure: KDP requires disclosure when text, images, or translations in the book were generated by AI. It distinguishes AI-generated content from content you created yourself with AI assistance. Review what your book contains and answer KDP's disclosure question accurately.
Saved in this browser: Your KDP preparation details are saved in the browser you used, so you can return to them later on the same device and browser.

Before You Publish
Checklist:
- All pages are in the correct reading order
- Thumbnails meet the platform's size requirements
- Content follows the platform's content guidelines
- AI-generated content is properly disclosed where required
- You have reviewed the content for errors or unwanted panels
- You understand the platform's revenue and rights terms
- You checked the destination platform's current upload and content rules
Keep an exported backup of the original files before uploading them to an external platform.
