How identity was scored
Each appearance received a 0–100 score across face and head, hair, age and body, signature outfit, and unique traits. The pass threshold was 80. Duplicated, merged, swapped, or misassigned identity anatomy failed even when the overall illustration style looked good.
Three first-pass panels gave Ren Ito duplicate mechanical-hand or forearm anatomy. Those panels were retained as disclosed “before” files, then redrawn. The other 37 first-pass panels were accepted without panel regeneration.
Known limitations
- Nia Quill's crescent earrings sometimes appear as rounder hoops.
- Toma Reyes's approved reference renders the written eyebrow scar more like an upper-cheek and eyebrow scar.
- Fine mechanical finger and palm geometry varies between Ren Ito panels.
- The sample uses English diagnostic labels rather than story dialogue to isolate visual identity consistency.
- Active human review time and exact settled provider cost were not separately measured.
“40 of 40 final accepted panels” describes this disclosed test and its scoring rule. It is not a universal character-consistency guarantee for arbitrary prompts or reference quality.
